Kuljeet is an eternal positivist and he believes in doing everything that he does with a strong belief and with full effort. No wonder he has survived two major surgeries, one a brain surgery in which he had 20% chance of survival and one a knee surgery which kept him immobile for over two months but on both occasions he has bounced back stronger and more positive. His tryst with positivity was etched in history as the initial period of his life was a struggle for survival and he did that with flying colours making a name for himself in the steel and consequently construction industry. His relationships were always strong as they were bound by trust, credibility and openness, still standing strong with him are listed companies such as Ahluwalia Contracts and B L Kashyap who are very well known in the Indian Construction Industry. Coming out from the grasp of death and being very close to being a disabled person teaches a person many things, but Kuljeet attributes positivity as one of the major reasons that he could survive these ordeals and is now convinced that this is what he can give back to the society- Positive Mental Attitude. This is exactly what he further talks about in his book- Defy Death With Your Positive Mental Attitude.

Defy Death With Your Positive Mental Attitude- is a real-life story of the author Kuljeet Khurana who came back from near Death and changed his entire life through his Positive Mental Attitude. In short, Positive Mental Attitude is your attitude of always seeing the glass half full rather than empty. We can't change the cards that we are dealt with in life, it is always the attitude of how we are going to play with those cards that define our positive attitude. Are we always cribbing or are we always in gratitude, are we always seeing the grass to be greener on the other side or are we actually trying to water and give manure to the grass on our side to make it green? These give a sense of who we are and what we think. Now are we born with these traits or can we manage to learn and adapt to a positive attitude, this and more is what one understands when he reads the book.Kuljeet writes very briefly about his ailment and what exactly happened to him and how by God's grace he survived to tell this tale.Kuljeet in the most part of the book gives pointers as to how a person can become a more positive personality. He says that at the end of the day, you become the person you most want to be by behaving consistently in accordance with your values, passion, and persistence.
