At a very young age of 16, Kuljeet Khurana joined his family’s steel business after finishing his college education. He attended the Prestige Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of commerce, which is second only to Sri Ram College of Commerce. After coming second in his college he again showcased his academic brilliance when he susccesfully qualified in the challenging ICWA FCA entrance exams in his very first attempt.
Kuljeet’s academic excellence demonstrated his potential to thrive in a corporate career. However, his ambitions faced an unexpected roadblock, due to the sudden demise of his father too soon. With the family business needing a leader, Kuljeet took charge to take his fathers dream legacy forward by setting aside his own personal ambition. His aim of continuing with Higher education was dashed due to his continued involvement in his family business. He started working with his uncle in the joint family enterprise, getting totally separated from his main family business, without getting his fair due.
Now lacking financial resources, Kuljeet’s determination was to grow stronger. He harboured an unwavering drive to get ahead in the industry and exceed the established businesses of his uncle. Kuljeet was fueled by a fiery motivation to succeed on his own terms and prove his worth.
Through his unflinching dedication, tireless effort and a friendly outlook, Kuljeet slowly built up his reputation in the steel industry. His hard work, coupled with an unwavering will to succeed, catapulted him to become a major name in the business.
Kuljeet diversified his interests by having his son oversee the scaffolding and rental side of the operations. Additionally, his wife pursued a small boutique hospitality venture.
He is committed to continuous growth, both personally and professionally. His communion with the construction sector is aimed at augmenting his capabilities so he can spread his wings further. Through strategic diversification, he can build upon his steel foundation while exploring new directions to extend his reach.
